FACT: Gallup tracks the percentage of US employees who say they are happy with their current job. From 2010 to 2017 the “happiness factor” rose from 42% to 45%, meaning that in 2017 55% of US employees are NOT happy with their jobs.
Yes. The majority of American workers are unhappy in their jobs. The reasons are endless, but money, being in the wrong profession, crummy bosses, lack of recognition, poor working conditions, and no hope for advancement are the major contributors. So, if you are part of the 55% then you are part of the majority!
