Here is a verbatim client testimonial letter we received from a client who went from $135K to $185K in their first year on their new job:

Dear Richard,

I want to express my gratitude for your ongoing counsel, guidance, and encouragement during my recent job search. I could not have landed my dream job without you.

I was clearly underutilized and underpaid in my old position. In addition, there was no room for advancement. The prospect of tackling a mid-career job change (while employed in a demanding job) was scary and intimidating to me, so I had not put forth much effort to find a new opportunity. Then, I was referred to you.

I knew after our first meeting it was time for me to get serious about improving my circumstances and invest in myself, both financially and with my time. You let me know early on that it was okay to want more from my job and reasonable to expect to be fully compensated for my contributions. You and Robin made me confident that I could achieve what I desired and you motivated me to step up to the challenge of competing for it.

Partnering with you was a great decision and I will be forever grateful to you for helping me re-strategize my career options, hone my networking skills, take consistent and effective action, and become completely prepared for the panel interview that got me this job. Despite having never been subjected to a panel interview, the effectiveness of our preparations were confirmed by my new HR manager who told me “You did great in your interview.”

After only three weeks in my new role, I can’t believe what a wonderful lifestyle change I am experiencing in a first-class company where I am truly valued for my abilities and contributions. Plus, I am getting paid what I am worth and have room for advancement. I am loving it!

There are a lot of free career services available but, unfortunately, the vast majority are not effective for executives and professionals. Such services include church job seeker groups, mutual support groups, web-based seminars, and untold amateurs who fashion themselves to be experts regarding the current job market.

When you take the time to consider that ineffective services can delay your career progress and personal happiness, these types of services can be, in fact, economically and emotionally costly … despite no out of pocket costs to you.

To learn the differences between these traditional services, please take the time to review our ARTICLE on this subject.

We are different from other free and paid alternatives. Although we can shift into “coaching mode” when needed, we mostly offer expert advisement as trained consultants.
